Mimosa restaurant in Gdańsk on Chrobrego, a few minutes from Polsat Plus Arena, Amber Expo and the Gdańsk Wrzeszcz station. We hire the whole space exclusively – up to 45 in the room, and from May to September another 25 in the garden.
Where to host a private event in Gdańsk?
We do not run a banquet hall. This is the same restaurant you come to for breakfast or dinner – only that day, just for you.

Baby shower
Intimate, at the table, without staged scenery. We adapt the menu to the mum-to-be: no alcohol, no raw fish or blue cheese if needed. Cakes and sweet bakes come from our own bakery.
Hen party
Dinner as a starting point or the whole evening. We can prepare a tasting menu to share, match the music and set the room up for décor you bring yourselves.
Birthdays and anniversaries
From an intimate dinner for a dozen people to a full hire of the restaurant. A cake to order from our patisserie.
Company dinners and socials
For the team, for clients, after a conference at Amber Expo or a match at Polsat Plus Arena. Invoice, agreed menu, predictable budget.
Company breakfasts and lunches
A less common format, and often the best: a meeting with a client or the team at the table, without taking anyone's evening. Mimosa is known for breakfast – it is our strong point.
Get-togethers with friends
You do not need an occasion. It is enough that you want a place just for yourselves.

Menu
We build the menu around each event – it is prepared by Piotr Ślusarz, our head chef, a semi-finalist of the first season of Top Chef and winner of the Gault & Millau Young Talent of the Year 2015. We cook Polish and regional food in a modern form, with an emphasis on seasonality.
You can choose a plated menu, sets to share at the table, or a buffet. We always prepare vegetarian options and cover allergies and diets – just tell us at the planning stage. If there are guests from abroad, we will prepare dishes from their region.
Bread and sweet bakes come from our own bakery, Mimosa Wajdeloty, at Wajdeloty 17. Tomatoes come from a farm in Łęgajny in Warmia, eggs and vegetables from local Pomeranian suppliers, and the beer from the Pomeranian Brodacz brewery.
We prepare a quote individually after your enquiry – it depends on the menu, the number of guests and the format.

How many people does the restaurant hold?+
The room seats up to 45. From May to September the garden adds another 25, for 70 places in total. In winter the garden is closed.
Can I hire the restaurant exclusively?+
Yes. We hire the whole space of it, depending on the size of the group.
What is the minimum group size for a booking?+
Exclusive hire of the whole space usually starts from around a dozen people. Smaller groups are seated at a shared table; we agree the details at booking.
Is there parking?+
Yes – four spaces for guests at the neighbouring Orlen station, numbers 41–44. The restaurant is a few minutes from the Gdańsk Wrzeszcz station.
Can I come with children?+
Yes. We have a separate kids menu, and there is a playground visible from the garden and the windows.
Do you cater for diets and allergies?+
Yes. We always prepare vegetarian options, and other needs – gluten-free, vegan, allergies – are agreed while composing the menu.
Can I bring my own cake?+
We can make the event cake at our bakery, Mimosa Wajdeloty – flavour, size and decoration agreed individually. Ask about bringing your own cake at booking.
How far in advance should I book?+
The earlier the better. Popular dates – Fridays, Saturdays and all of December – book several weeks ahead; smaller groups can usually be accommodated within a few days.
